Meet the tools

Use the Mini-Tool to punch holes for build bolts, drive bolts in, and take them out.

Turn clockwise to drive a build bolt in and counter-clockwise to take it out.
Use it in tight spaces where a larger tool will not fit.
One builder can use the Spin Tool while a helper uses the Mini-Tool.
To make a bolt hole, place the tip in the correct spot and press down rather than punching.

Use the Spin Tool as a screwdriver for driving build bolts in and out to connect cardboard pieces.

The Safe Cutter is designed to be safer than a metal blade. Move it back and forth with light pressure along the cutting line.

Draw the cutting line first.
For thick cardboard, score the line with the Fold Wheel before sawing.
Use the large teeth for faster cutting and the small teeth for precision work.
To start in the middle of a sheet, make two or three holes with the Mini-Tool and insert the cutter tip there.

Use the Fold Wheel to score clean folding lines and to prepare a line before using the Safe Cutter.

Draw a guide line first.
The Fold Wheel scores cardboard; use the Safe Cutter when you need to cut.
Score only the side that will fold. You do not need to mark the opposite side.
Place cardboard flat on the floor or another suitable work surface.
Press the first tooth into the start of the line, then press gently and roll along the line.

Build bolts securely fasten separate cardboard pieces together.

Use the Hole Punch to make clean holes through cardboard.

Press and twist to make a hole where needed.
Place scrap cardboard underneath the work to protect the surface and improve the cut.
Use the holes for build bolts, windows, or decorative details.
Remove the small cardboard pieces from inside the tool regularly.

Select a large box for the main body, a second box or folded panel for an extension, and flat cardboard for the roof.
Mark and cut a door and window openings before joining the main pieces.
Fold or position the body panels and connect them with build bolts through pre-punched holes.
Cut two broad roof panels. Make a narrow rectangular ridge connector and punch evenly spaced holes along its long edges.
Fasten one roof panel to each side of the ridge connector, then place and bolt the roof to the house body.
Check each connection, stop tightening when the bolts stop turning, and add optional cardboard details.
